Time Flies.

Happy new year! Can't believe it's 2026, I think the time dilation is being felt by all ages at this point, children stay children for a millisecond, adults skip their 20's and go straight into middle age.

This seems the logical jump off point into my new album, my "Mid life crisis" album "Where Was I Going With This". This is my new year gift to the world, "Time Flies" a deceptively happy song in a minor key .

What starts as a melancholic dark lament evolves into a bright celebration and even though it ends with my cup being empty (literally lol) there is a sense of satisfaction in a life well lived. It's funny when I look at the general theme of my creative output for the last 20 years... from "Smile", "Love is Here" to now "Time Flies"... it's always really been about making the most of life.
