Thrashing

The second single from "Where was I going with this" is about that tension when you keep banging your head against a brick wall, and the relief when you realise you don't have to anymore.

I actually wrote it about a particularly toxic football game I used to attend. I left the game so angry and decided never to return, since then I've enjoyed some awesome games of football (that I would not have been able to attend if I was still committed to the terrible game I was regularly attending - opportunity cost) AND I got this absolute banger of a track out of it!

And I have to mention the video. Big shout out to my mum on camera duties. Bascially, we woke up on shoot day and Amobi started vomiting, so that took my usual camera operator (his mum :D) out of action. Last minute I had the genius idea to call my mum like... ahhhh are you available as we have rented the space and couldn't really cancel. We had a short amount of time and challenging conditions but I'm pretty happy with what we've come up with!
