I Rapped at Old Trafford During the 2026 Super League Grand Final
The stage manager said it was the best reception he's ever seen a band having. IN 15 YEARS
BROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
I don't know how, many thanks to Youngguns, Event 360, Kojo, but somehow I was trusted to be MD/ lead vocalist for getting the crowd hype, INTRODUCING THE HISTORIC TEAMS ON SKY SPORTS MAIN EVENT, at the Rugby leagues grand final this saturday just gone at Old Trafford (Man Utd ground).
The event itself was historic, neither team having won before, Wakefield recently coming back from relegation, with the manager who got sacked from Warrington when they... lost to Wakefield prior to Wakefields relegation! Also having RAP music of the type I am a specialist in, I am told is a first, and lets be honest stadiums present challenges for rap music specifically with these dense vocals and booming beats.

But we smashed it, shout out to singers Emily and Tanya, DJ Rasp, Courtney Brown and Gav on the brass. Collectively we are known as Soul Symphony and have been doing this for a MINUTE (you might have last seen us on BGT - BGT billed it as Dr Chima Anya, but it was actually Soul Symphony - you can read about that elsewhere on my website lol). Anyway, from Old Trafford back to slightly smaller rooms 😂
This Thursday I’m doing a little vinyl DJ set on Twitch at 7pm for a few hours — digging through some of the records I love, playing bits and pieces, chatting rubbish, and clanging through obnoxious mixes. If you are free, come through, should be fun!

And while we’re talking vinyl: copies of Where was I going with this? are still available. I’m still packing and posting every order myself, which remains both very satisfying and slightly ridiculous.
If you’ve been meaning to grab one, you can get it here:

Till the next time! Keep in touch!
Much love
